Shyam Visweswaran is part of the BU-led interdisciplinary team that developed the first anatomy-aware Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) model that advances the power of and trust in AI-powered medical imaging. This research was made possible through Bridges-2, a joint center of the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University, designed for converged high-performance computing (HPC), high-performance artificial intelligence (HPAI), and large-scale data management. The Research Informatics Office (RIO), headed by Jonathan Silverstein, made the data for this research available.
